Balayage & Ombre’
The transition of a lighter shade from a darker shade is the style Ombre. The word “Balayage” comes from another French word meaning “to sweep”.
When applying the color for a balayage, you sweep the color through small triangle sections of the hair onto a board or foil, giving it the natural transition down into the lighter color. In Balayage, there are dark pieces left on the bottom to create dimension and a more natural look. This technique looks like natural sun-kissed highlights throughout the hair.
Ombre / Balayage with Blowdry: $125 and up

What our clients say
I’ve been going to Compulsive for about 6-7 years now. They are awesome, my stylist Katie is the best!! They are very professional and aware of the latest styles of cuts, color trennds. No matter what, you leave Compulsive feeling beautiful, I love them. I’ll never switch, they’re the only salon for me!!
Lauren did a great job with my hair! Everyone was so friendly too! Got my hair done for a wedding and they went outside during a snowstorm to clean off our cars just so our hair didn’t get ruined! Now that’s service! highly recommend!
Lauren has been doing my lash fills and I am very satisfied with her work. The thing she does differently that I like is she fans in between and it makes a difference with the end result. When I open my eyes at the end, there is not as much of the tearing and burn sensation. Thanks Lauren! Great job!!
Jessica was amazing!! Very nice and made me feel very comfortable. The compliments and conversation never ended the whole 2 and a half hours she did my hair. Her and the entire team were amazing!
My first visit there was amazing. My stylist was Katie. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly the way I wanted. She had fun and I was excited at the results, which I had been trying to achieve at my last salon. Compulsive is a very professional, high class salon.
